August-
Section 4 Youth Rally-
This rally will be hosted by our church this coming Friday night, August 20th!!! So bring your friends it’s going to be AWESOME!! The great, talented Chad Mooney will be speaking that night....so get ready for come church!!
21st-22nd-
We will continue youth revival in the WIRED room with Chad Mooney!!! Again, bring your friends it’s going to go down in the WIRED ROOM!!!
27th-28th-
BLITZ!!!!!! Enough said.....!!!! This is our district wide SFC lock-in hosted at the Texas District Camp Grounds in Lufkin, TX!!! $100 ticket to get in....TONS of prizes and give-aways!!
28th-
Community-Wide Youth Service @ 7:30 pm!!! Chris Watlington, amazing, hilarious, teacher at Center High School, is putting this event together. The event will be held in the WIRED room! So get ready Center, Tx....it’s going to be off the chain!!!

September-
ATTENDANCE DRIVE-
This is a church wide event!!! SO BRING guest to church!!! For the youth, our goal is to average 50 young people, every service!!!

October-

“Twilight Deception”

Hope all is well during this busy holiday time!! “Twilight: New Moon” came out not to long ago...I knew the first “Twilight” was a big hit but this one topped the box offices. All I heard was teenagers saying “this is the best movie ever...you have to go see it.” I didn’t like the first movie at all when it came out. I knew a lot of the history behind vampires. Whether you think they are fictional characters....you might want to check yourself. They are real....not the “can’t be around garlic, pale faced, kill them with a stake” creatures, but a cult. “Vampires” were given the name back in 1054 AD when the Roman and Orthodox church split ways. Some went the way of atheism. Part of that group branched out and would have “spiritual” gatherings where they would drink the blood of an innocent family. The more blood aka souls they would drink the more power they would receive.

“It’s just an innocent teenage love story” “it’s fictional anyways, it isn’t real” “we aren’t trying to be vampires” ....all these are sayings from people trying to justify the movie. Don’t tell me that you can walk out of a movie and not be affected. Did you cry at sad parts? Did you laugh when you saw something funny? Did you get angry when a villein came on the screen? Did you have any emotion throughout the entire movie? YES!! You can’t watch a movie and say it didn’t affect you. Just a love story? Didn’t really see the hustle and bustle about the Twilight movie? I got the plot synopsis off of the internet with lines from the movie...honestly, my heart was heavy just reading it. My heart was heavy for the simple fact that christians still become “fans” after even watching the movie. Not because it was vampires, “we don’t believe in vampires” but because it was a “love story.” The summary of the entire movie was a young 18 year old girl who was willing to give up her soul for the love of a 17 year old boy (who is actually 109 years old). (This is an actual line from movie) “if this is about my soul, take it, I don’t want it without you.” Not only was she willing to give up her soul, but give up her life as well. So was he! They both proclaimed to give up their lives if they couldn’t be with each other. There is a lot more in the movie that you can read about in the “The Real Twilight” at the top of the screen (a separate page).

Apostolics, Christians, parents we can’t be deceived or fooled by this world. We were called to be a separate people! Lord, help us, open our eyes to see what is pure, what is righteous, and holy because You are holy!

Welcome to the new WIRED website blog page!! Can I get a “whoop whoop?” Be checking back every week for new blogs by me, the pastor, or even YOU! We have been in revival since Oct. 11th with Rev.
